LLS have teamed up with St Cecilia’s College, St Joeseph’s, and St Columb’s College to offer males and females the opportunity to gain Level 3 qualifications which lead on to university and full-time employment.

All learners are given the opportunity to gain weekly work experience in the local community thanks to Skill School NI who provide inclusive multi-sports to local children.

Our Unique learning model, Northern Ireland

Gain qualifications, access work experience, and build your professional network.

Study towards a BTEC Level 3 extended diploma in sports coaching and development and gain up to 168 UCAS points.

Your unique timetable includes 4 days per week of theory and practical lessons with 1 day dedicated to your work experience.

Work experience will take place in schools and at sports clubs in your local community. Once you have learned the basics and developed your confidence, you will be invited to gain experience in Liverpool. Impress here and you could be off to Tenerife or further afield!

You will become part of our student network meaning you will receive invitations to incredible events. Better still, you will be given the chance to meet and speak to some of world sports most successful professionals, from coaches through to sports scientists and even athletes.

Natasha Irvine

Experience:

Natasha has been a qualified PE teacher since 2019. She worked as a PE teacher in England until August 2021 when she began working for LLS and returned to Northern Ireland.

Qualifications:

Natasha has a Honours Degree in Education Studies, Sports Studies and PE, with a PGCE in PE. She also has qualifications in a multitude of sports including: athletics, rugby, swimming, netball, tennis, and trampolining.

Interesting fact:

Natasha has a twin sister and they often say the same things and finish each others sentences.

Experience: Full time coach in Northern Ireland and the USA.

Qualifications: Sports Coaching/Development at Ulster University.

Interesting fact: Hannah is an Irish Dancer and has performed in places such as China and Palestine.
