In the Classroom

It’s hard to beat an inspiring talk from a guest speaker who started their sporting journey in a similar position to you. To help keep you focussed and motivated during your two-year course, your tutor will arrange several visitors including former course graduates who earn their living in the sports industry, you will hear from and speak to local employers and universities will visit you too.

In The Sports Industry

As part of our domestic trips to world class facilities and professional academies, you will be given the chance to hear from some of the UK’s leading professionals including elite coaches, leading sports scientists, strength and conditioning trainers, plus much more. Who knows, if you make a good impression on these people, they may even offer you an internship to work alongside them and their colleagues.

Online

Our online guest speaker series is truly unique to LLS, and it gives our students the chance to ask questions to some of the highest-level operators in world sport. 

There is a long list of famous names LLS students have met online including memorable talks from Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard; former Chief Executive of Liverpool FC Peter Moore spoke about his career in gaming and sports business; whilst legendary commentator Martin Tyler spoke about his career as the ‘voice of football’. 

Away from football, our boxing themed talks have included guests such as world champion boxer Natasha Jonas, her coach Joe Gallagher; Tyson Fury’s strength and conditioning coach Kristian Blacklock spoke about his work alongside the lineal world heavyweight champion. 

Not only are these online talks inspiring but some have led to opportunities for LLS learners including mentoring from some of the famous names mentioned.

International exchanges

By joining LLS, you become a member of our learning network. You and your classmates will have the opportunity to travel to meet and learn with other cohorts across England, Ireland and Wales. If you enjoy these experiences, you can apply for our 7-10 day learning exchanges in Tenerife, Finland and Qatar.

Rewards trips

We believe in rewarding young people who work hard and dedicate themselves to their LLS course. If you’re committed and meet your coursework deadlines, you will enjoy a host of rewards upon completion of each unit. Popular trips include visits to St George’s Park, media days at adidas HQ and tours to some of the UK’s top academies.

We are fortunate to have a large professional network meaning you can be inspired by some of sports most successful individuals. Our guests range from Tyson Fury’s strength & conditioning coach to Olympic medal-winning athletes and Liverpool FC’s former C.E.O, Peter Moore.

Global coaching conference

Being paid to travel the world is often a dream for many young people. At LLS, we can make that dream a reality. Each year in November, LLS welcome active employers to present their job offers to our students. Our most recent event saw students secure personal training internships in Dubai as well as multi-sports coaching jobs in USA, Canada, China, Sri Lanka and Qatar.
