Activator Awards provide you with the skills to introduce new activities to the groups that you work with. These awards provide an informal introduction to a new sport or activity and enable you to facilitate activities within a community setting.

These 3-hour workshops enable you to lead modified versions of the sport or activity in a variety of settings, and with minimal equipment. There is a focus on fun and adaptation, rather than technical ability. Drawing on the principles of teaching games for understanding, they provide numerous activities to enable interaction with young people and understand their motivations.

The Activator Awards are an excellent way of enhancing your CV, which is imperative when applying for university, apprenticeships or employment.
