The sports industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world worth hundreds of billions of pounds, meaning there are more job opportunities for you than ever before. Whether you’re interested in sports business, media, coaching, fitness or sports science, we’re confident our course is perfect for you.

The world of sport is a competitive place and we are here to give you an advantage. You will study towards Level 3 qualifications and learning is brought to life with weekly work experience in your local community and at specialist multi-sports environments.

Our cohorts are well-balanced between males and females with many different sports represented in our classrooms. Often young people will join us with a passion for one or two sports but leave with a working knowledge of 10 additional sports, therefore making them more employable in the future.

Each term includes visits from guest speakers who work at the cutting edge of the sports industry. You will access regular study visits to elite settings and if you are passionate about travelling, you can apply for a place on our international learning exchange.

Our Tenerife course is delivered by two highly qualified tutors.

Originally from the U.K., Jason has been central to LLS Tenerife and ensuring the students get full support within all aspects of the course, from practical, theory, work experience, and graduate opportunities. Jason has lived in Tenerife for many years and has established a network of sports professionals on the island that students can benefit from.

Meet Rhys, a graduate of the LLS course.

Rhys Jones

Rhys, an LLS graduate has always known that he wanted to to run his own business, and this is exactly what he did after graduating from the LLS programme. Whilst on the course, Rhys found his passion for coaching and was able to gain knowledge on how to deliver a variety of sports to people at all levels. This was the perfect foundation for Rhys to set up Champion Sports , a business providing sports coaching sessions to children and young adults.

Practical

Take part in practical sessions multiple times per week and develop your coaching style and ability, alongside improving your knowledge of multi-sports.

Work Experience

You will do at least 2 work placements per week. These start in schools, gyms and local sports clubs and eventually move into professional sports environments.  

Theory

You will spend time in the classroom, learning about sport from your Tutor and study alongside other students who are passionate about securing a career in the industry.
