LLS and Steven Gerrard Academy have joined forces to create the ultimate sixth form multi-sports course, based at the incredible Tenerife Top Training (T3) facility.

Following over a decade of success in the UK and Middle East, LLS launched here in Tenerife in 2021. The programme was the first ever multi-sports course to be offered to students in the Canary Islands. 

Including both practical and theory sessions each week, the course is continuously evolving to ensure the LLS programme helps students progress to university or secure a career in the world of sport. 

With the courses unique location, access to world class facilities, and a pathway into sport, there are only a limited places available each year for both Tenerife residents and international applicants. 

Successful applicants are taught by our qualified teachers 3-days per week at the world-leading T3. Thanks to strategic partnerships with local schools and sports clubs, all students have their own enrichment calendar which provides access to a minimum of 2-days per week of work experience or additional elite level training (relevant to student athletes).

Our Unique learning model, Tenerife

Study towards a BTEC Level 3 extended diploma in sports coaching and development and gain up to 168 UCAS points.

Your unique timetable includes 3 days per week of theory and practical lessons with 2 days dedicated to your work experience.

Work experience will take place in schools and at sports clubs in your local community. Once you have learned the basics and developed your confidence, you will be invited to gain experience further afield!

By joining LLS, you will become part of our student network meaning you will receive invitations to incredible events. Better still, you will be given the chance to meet and speak to some of world sports most successful professionals, from coaches through to sports scientists and even athletes.

Meet Jason, your LLS Tenerife Tutor

Jason

Experience:

Jason was a PE teacher with 25 experience working in secondary and primary schools as well as lecturing at Liverpool John Moores University on their Teacher Training degrees. Jason has worked on a number of sports projects with the UK government including the pilot phase and launch of the School Sport Partnership Programme.

Qualifications:

BA with QTS in Physical Education, Sport and Dance and World Rugby Level 3 Coach.

Interesting fact:

Jason has been visiting Tenerife for 27 years but has lived there for 4 years. His brother is a former Premier League footballer.

Name: Jakub Kapturski

Jakub is originally from Poland but now lives in Tenerife in order to practice his passion of kitesurfing. Jakub travels the world competing and will be heading to the world championships in September. Studying with LLS allows him the flexibility to learn and train while in Tenerife and still maintain his learning, even when he spends time away from Tenerife.

Jakub takes advantage of the strength and conditioning suite and the scheduled yoga sessions in order to reach his potential and he will no doubt have a very bright future ahead of him.
