What Is The Global Coaching Conference?

Each year, LLS students across the UK attend our very own Global Coaching Conference (GCC). Hosted at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, the GCC gives our students the chance to network with key industry figures, as well as gain advice and employment opportunities they can’t find anywhere else. 

There are expos and talks put on by inudstry professionals, giving elite insight and expert knowledge into different avenues of the sports industry. Not only are there opportunities to meet professional athletes and key industry figures, students can showcase their coaching skills and gain employment coaching abroad.

LLS students every year spend their summers coaching abroad around the world in jobs they secured at the Global Coaching Conference. Companies such as Challenger Sports, Qatar Evolution Soccer, Beestera Soccer Training, and more all attend. They assess LLS students through a training session there and then, and offer coaching roles abroad. Coaches can apply for roles in Qatar, the USA, China, Canada, Ireland and more, all at the GCC.

Exposing LLS students to the ins and outs of the sports industry in order to give them a clear understanding of how things work in their chosen careers. This invaluable experience cannot be found anywhere else. They’ll spend hours immersed with athletes and professionals in the sports business to prepare them for their future.

Exclusive to LLS students, the GCC brings a massive advantage when it comes to finding employment and understanding options for the future. They’re able to visit potential universities, showcase their abilities directly to employers leading to paid roles, speak to professionals and key members of the industry, and much more. It’s an event that we provide to allow our students to put their skills into practice and achieve their full potential.
