course overview

This programme delivered in partnership with the Bradford Bulls, is an elite two-year programme designed for aspiring sports professionals. Combining academic study with high-performance rugby training, this course offers students a unique opportunity to learn within a professional club environment.

Qualification

You will earn a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma, which is equivalent to three A-levels. This qualification carries up to 168 UCAS points and is 100% coursework based.

Students gain invaluable, hands-on experience through dedicated placements within the Bradford Bulls club and foundation. This includes participating in community coaching initiatives, assisting with match-day operations and working within the analysis and media departments.

The programme provides exclusive access to professional facilities, including the Tong Training Centre and Odsal Stadium. You will benefit from trips to Liverpool for a residential, to Leeds Beckett University and to Rossyln Park to compete in international tournaments.

Graduates are well-positioned for diverse futures, including University entry to study sports science or management, rugby scholarships, or direct employment in coaching and personal training. As an LLS student, you will get the exclusive opportunity to attend the global coaching conference where you can network with Global employers for coaching jobs abroad.
