Course overview

You will earn a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Creative Digital Media Production which is equivalent to three A-levels. This qualification carries up to 168 UCAS points and is 100% coursework based – setting you up with a pathway into the Sports Media industry.

Students gain invaluable, hands-on experience through dedicated placements with RedMen TV and Your Tour. This includes assisting in the production of podcasts and creating content for social media.

The programme provides exclusive access to professional clubs such as Bradford Bulls, Llandudno FC and Larne FC where our students will gain experience working alongside their media departments. Students will also experience international content trips to Alicante and the MI Cup alongside our other LLS Students.

Graduates are well-positioned for diverse futures, while building their portfolio and work experience throughout the course. Students position themselves ahead of other applicants for real world roles. Students can apply for University to study sports media or Journalism or direct employment in content creation. Our BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Creative Media Practice in partnership with SFX and RedMen TV is designed for those looking for a future in Sports Media.

This programme includes weekly work experience in industry settings alongside content capture opportunities within LLS. Students will get the opportunity to work alongside Llandudno FC and Bradford Bulls to capture content for our programmes, in addition – the programme offers unique international work experience such as an Alicante trip and travelling with our football performance programme to the MI Cup in April.
