Our Yorkshire students were given a unique opportunity to participate in an exclusive coaching session led by rugby legend Kruise Leeming. This session was a key highlight of our rugby programme, offering invaluable insights and expert guidance from one of the sport’s most respected figures.
Kruise Leeming is a highly skilled rugby league player, known for his dynamic performances as a hooker for the Wigan Warriors in the Super League. With a reputation for his agility, quick thinking, and leadership on the field, Leeming has become a key figure in the team.
The students were guided through a series of professional drills and exercises designed to enhance their skills in passing, communication, and positioning. They learned valuable techniques to refine their passing accuracy, improve on-field communication with teammates, and perfect their positioning to gain a tactical advantage. These drills provided practical, hands-on experience aimed at elevating their performance and understanding of the game.
After the session concluded, the students had the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with Kruise. They were able to ask him about his journey from childhood to his current success, the challenges he’s overcome, and the memorable moments he’s experience along the way. It was a unique chance for the students to gain insight into what it’s truly like to be a professional rugby player, learning firsthand from someone who has been through it all.
