Our BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development in partnership with Llandudno FC is designed for those looking for a future in football.

Our football and education programme includes weekly training sessions, competitive games, and dedicated weekly work experience. In addition – the  programme offers unique national and international opportunities, such as English Premier League trips, annual international tournaments, and guidance on player pathways like US football scholarships, university entry, and coaching jobs abroad.

The teaching of this course will take place at our campus in Prestatyn while the training and fixtures will take place at Llandudno FC.

Students will participate in an immersive 2-day residential trip to Liverpool, providing a direct look into the world of professional football. The itinerary includes experiencing the city’s rich football culture and exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours of iconic stadiums, offering unparalleled insight into top-flight professional football.

We have carefully selected a team of official ambassadors who we know will inspire you to strive for success. During your two years with LLS, you will meet our ambassadors online, in person and at events.

Football Coaching Work Experience

Students gain invaluable, weekly football coaching work experience by coaching directly with Llandudno FC. This partnership allows students to volunteer and work within the club’s extensive grassroots structure. By working alongside experienced mentors and the club’s management team, students build a professional CV, develop essential leadership skills, and create local connections.

Global Coaching Conference

The Global Coaching Conference is an exclusive event connecting students with our international employers. It provides a direct pathway to secure paid coaching contracts in world-class destinations such as the USA, Canada, the UAE, and Qatar.

Players demonstrating exceptional skill may earn a place on our squads for the MIC Cup. This unparalleled tournament experience puts you directly in the mix with elite global competition, including youth teams from giants like FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Our students gain access to international employment opportunities that are often unavailable elsewhere. By showcasing your skills to our global partners, you could spend your summer coaching in Qatar, Canada, or the USA, and building a professional cv that stands out in the competitive sports industry.
